The wild strawberries are ripe here in late June and early July. They are so small compared to the garden variety, but they have so much flavor! I put plant in a pot and brought it into my studio to draw. This life-size drawing of a flowering strawberry plant was done on Arches hot press acid-free paper with Staedtler graphite pencils.
